Scott Seitz Included in Distinguished Registry
Scott Seitz works with companies engaged in reaching out to gay and lesbian consumers
NEW YORK, NY, May 6, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Scott Seitz, Chief Executive Officer at SPI Marketing LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in LGBT community development and marketing.
In the past 15 years, Mr. Seitz has been a market leader in developing a 360 degree approach to creating strategic events allowing consumers to experience a product and eventually purchase it. Working with companies, multicultural marketing and reaching out to gay and lesbian consumers, he collaborates with profit and nonprofit organizations, and oversees marketing research, strategic planning, media buying, creative integrations, event marketing and promotions. Mr. Seitz owns two companies: SPI Marketing and dotGay, an application for the top-level domain. Throughout 2012, he anticipates 300,000 commercial and community applications to acquire the ".gay" Web domain, in which 67 percent of the profits will go directly to the dotGay Foundation.
After having worked for Fortune 500 companies, such as Pepsi and the Eastman Chemical Company, a division of Eastman Kodak, he became motivated to start his own company with a focus on the gay and lesbian community. He attributes his success to his tenacity and belief in what his company is doing, as well as the integrity that the company maintains.
Mr. Seitz earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in packaging engineering, both from Michigan State University. He is a member of Stonewall Speakers and the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. In the coming years, Mr. Seitz projects continued growth and expansion into international markets.
